3 Ways to Keep Debt from Putting You in a Bad Mood

Day 255 of my Financial Freedom Countdown

Just thinking of the amount of debt I have puts me in such a bad mood. If you believe in the theory of the Law of Attraction, you know that bad thoughts bring about bad things. The good news is if you don't now why you are feeling grouchy, you have the power to turn things around into a more positive perception. Having just been on vacation I have such relief from my constant thought of debt looming over me like a shadow and I have been looking for ways to help cope with the stress of debt on a regular basis.

Here are three ways I have found to help turn the frown upside down:
  1. Listen. Music is a major emotional motivator for many people. So when you need to feel good, pop in a favorite CD or queue up a make-you-move MP3.
  2. Laugh. Turn that frown upside down with a hearty chuckle or two. Research is beginning to affirm that spontaneous laughter connects people in positive ways.
  3. Relax. What's better than imaging yourself on a message table? Actually being there. Make an appointment and for some the release of stress reducing endorphins.
