Developed with help form state Attorneys General the program is eligible for Countrywide sub prime and Pay Option adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) borrowers. The program is estimated to provide up to 8.4 billion in permanent payment reductions and help up to 400,000 eligible Countrywide customers nationwide. Additionally, participating states will have access to a $150 million foreclosure relief program and a $70 million relocation program. currently, there are 17 states participating in the program.
